Mercuria’s students took part in the European Festival in Pombal, Portugal. The project brought together students from ten different European countries, with students from each country having their own areas of responsibility in organising the event. Our students helped plan the marketing, and we had our own stand at the festival, themed “Finland, the Happiest Country in the World”. We also introduced Finnish sauna culture and received some wonderful sauna-themed props from Harvia.
The event will continue next year, when the festival will be held in France, in Tours and Saint-Pierre-des-Corps. The organisers aim to involve additional European countries, and Poland has already confirmed that it will take part.
