Four teachers from Mercuria’s partner school, Lycée professionnel Remi Belleau, which is located near Paris, took part in a job-shadowing experience here at Mercuria. The visit focused on student well-being, motivation, engagement and the prevention of school dropout.
During the visit, the participants explored the Finnish education system and observed practices related to classroom management, student support and equal opportunities. We also discussed how to strengthen students’ confidence, autonomy and participation, as well as how to support young people during work-based learning and international mobility.
The warm welcome and open discussions with Finnish colleagues provided valuable opportunities to share experiences, exchange ideas and reflect on professional practices. The visit inspired participants to develop new approaches to student support, strengthen co-operation among staff and create a safe and encouraging learning environment.
This European mobility experience offered valuable insights that can help the school improve student well-being, motivation and success.
